Smartphone proxy with crystal eye, shredded money,
red string, muslin bandage, modelling clay,
homemade slime, two plantane leaves.

Is an artist just another worker in the production line? Is art just another commodity? What's the difference between creating and producing? What are we creating for? How can we create in a sustainable way? Using all resources - beings, materials, places, energy, time - respectfully? How to develop a practice that truly reflects our values. How to grow a structure that is sustainable, nourishing and humble.

The ritual is aiming to renegotiate the artist's role and to redefine artistic practice. Incorporating and respecting the non-productive, the non-linear, the evasive, the play, the accident, the mistake, the experience of crisis and stagnation as well as honouring the quality of time and space and setting boundaries in order to safeguard resources.
