The performance laboratory is investigating the specific mind-set and codified behaviour of audiences.
The research is being conducted in a locked laboratory situated in a container on the grounds of the Fine Art Academy of Nuremberg.
Research period is during the yearly exhibition as it provides a pool of spectator-minded members of society with experience in cultural and artistic consumption.

During procedure data is constantly being gathered by Dr. Hostage who is handling the participants and closely monitoring the subjects' reactions.
Security cameras are in place to ensure the quality of the study, the recorded footage is analysed and compared with the laboratory data sheets.
The participants are later being contacted via telephone to share their results with them and discuss any further queries relating to the results, the procedure and the research.
The evaluation encompasses individual as well group behaviour.
The collected data quantifies levels of resilience, obedience, insubordination, acquiescence and free will in the relation to social norms and cultural expectations within the spectator mind-set, incorporating the spectators' ability for on the spot decision making and rebel-quality.
